Thoughtful Puzzles Press is a small independent publisher of puzzle books for adults: word searches, murder mystery word searches and sudoku.

Every book carries the Thoughtful Puzzles Press name on its cover. On Amazon, our books are listed under the author name Sara Jayathi, a pen name.

How we make the books

Every puzzle is generated by software, and a computer checks each one before the book goes to print. The answers at the back are confirmed against the puzzles, and every sudoku has exactly one solution.

Most of our books are in large print, with grids and word lists at 16 point or bigger. The solutions at the back are set smaller. Sudoku Puzzles for Adults is the exception: it fits 1,000 puzzles into regular print, and its book page says so.

Each series keeps its format from book to book, and each new volume has all-new puzzles and topics.
